Senior Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) & Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Solution Architect

We're looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Platform Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer across our enterprise marketing ecosystem.

This role combines architecture, technical leadership and hands-on delivery to ensure our Adobe Experience Cloud solutions enable personalised customer experiences at scale.

Working closely with Marketing, Data, Engineering and Product teams, you'll define customer journeys, architect integrations and help drive adoption of Adobe's digital experience technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design, creation and optimisation of customer audiences within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real Time CDP.
• Build and activate audience segments across web, mobile, email and paid media channels.
• Design scalable segmentation strategies that support personalised customer experiences throughout the customer life cycle.
• Manage customer profiles, identity stitching and Identity Graph capabilities to maintain accurate, unified customer views.
• Oversee data ingestion across Edge, Streaming and Batch pipelines, ensuring high-quality, timely and reliable customer data.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to optimise SDK implementations, event collection and Adobe Launch tagging strategies.
• Monitor audience performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement, conversion and marketing effectiveness.
• Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate customer and marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support the evolution of Aviva's Adobe Experience Platform architecture and data activation capabilities.
• Promote governance, data quality, GDPR compliance and Adobe best practice across the platform.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing across the wider Audience & Activation community.

We're looking for someone who combines deep Adobe platform expertise with strong marketing technology knowledge and the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.

Essential experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
• Proven experience using Adobe Real Time CDP (rtCDP) or equivalent Customer Data Platforms such as Tealium, Salesforce Data Cloud or Treasure Data.
• Excellent understanding of customer profiles, identity resolution and Identity Graph concepts.
• Experience building, managing and optimising customer audiences for digital activation.
• Strong knowledge of Edge, Streaming and Batch data ingestion.
• Experience working with Adobe Experience Platform schemas, datasets and data governance.
• Knowledge of Adobe Launch (Tags), SDK implementation and digital event collection.
• Experience delivering audience activation across multiple digital marketing channels.
• Strong understanding of customer journey orchestration and personalisation.
• Experience working with APIs and customer data integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
