People Solution Architect (Oracle Fusion HCM) - 6 months | Crawley, UK (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)

We're recruiting for a Solution Architect to provide architectural direction and guidance for a programme delivering enhancements and critical changes following a recent Oracle Fusion system implementation for a leading UK airline. The role defines target state architecture and solution design, working closely with business and technology teams to deliver into production as part of the Enterprise Architecture team, Embedded within the Fusion programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver agreed change requests and enhancements, with agreed solution design and appropriate documentation
• Work closely with both business and technology to ensure adherence to technical principles, patterns, and standards (eg "configure not customise")
• Specify integrations into the wider technology estate, including adherence to existing technical principles, patterns, and standards - recommending new patterns where necessary
• Understand data models and define the data flow approach
• Handle ad-hoc design decisions pragmatically, adapting the High-Level Design as required to reflect actual implementation

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Knowledge of the architecture and design of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM
• Knowledge of standard data models used in the Oracle Fusion SaaS solution
• Significant expertise with Oracle Fusion across HCM
• Expertise implementing, designing, and configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modules
• Expertise/knowledge across Core HCM, Recruitment, Time & Attendance (Absence), Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Talent (incl. Performance & Goals), Workforce Planning, and Reporting Tools (OTBI/BI)
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - architectural experience, concepts, and patterns, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Knowledge of C4 modelling or other architectural concepts/tooling advantageous but not essential
• Experience with large-scale, complex implementations and continuous improvement projects

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
• Day Rate: £650 per day
• Location: Crawley (3 days onsite per week)
• Start Date: ASAP
