Mid-Level Security Engineer [$173k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary: • Execute information system security and accreditation processes utilizing the Risk Management Framework (RMF). • Develop, review, and maintain critical security artifacts including System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, and POA&&Ms using tools such as XACTA. • Ensure strict compliance with national security directives including JSIG, ICD 503, DAAPM, and NISPOM while overseeing software security contr ols, communication protocols, and encryption techniques.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 10+ years • Total Compensation: $173k+ yearly Job Description: • Support major federal information systems and applications through comprehensive security engineering and compliance oversight. • Implement hardware and software security contr ols, secure communication protocols, and encryption tools. • Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation and guide systems through end-to-end accreditation. • Interface with information assurance managers to review security documentation, SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&&A packages, and POA&&Ms. • Manage system compliance and authorization packages using XACTA IA Manager. • Ensure adherence to national security information system standards, including JSIG, ICD 503, DAAPM, and NISPOM. • Provide oversight and execution for Assessment and Authorization (A&&A) and C&&A processes. • Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. • Hold an active DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification.
