Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales to lead a luxury resort's group sales organization and drive revenue growth across corporate meetings, conventions, incentive travel, association events, social groups, and destination business in the Las Vegas, NV market. This is a selling position with a sales market region of the Midwest and Southeast territories.

Director of Sales Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive group sales strategy to drive revenue growth across corporate meetings, conventions, associations, incentive travel, social events, and destination group business
- Lead proactive and reactive group sales efforts while managing sales pipelines, booking pace, and revenue performance
- Drive group room and catering revenue through strategic account management, prospecting, upselling, and relationship development
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, performance metrics, and revenue projections
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle, including solicitation, contracting, event turnover, and post-event relationship management
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and strategies to increase market share
- Maintain exceptional service standards while representing the property's luxury brand experience
Director of Sales Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of hospitality sales experience within a luxury resort, convention hotel, or full-service property
- Proven track record of driving group revenue growth and exceeding sales goals
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams
- Strong understanding of corporate meetings, conventions, associations, incentives, and group business
- Strong contract negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional departments
- Experience with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and reporting tools preferred
