We are hiring on behalf of a leading European energy infrastructure service provider, deeply involved in building and modernizing substations for the medium, high, and extra-high voltage segments. This is an opportunity to contribute to the energy transition and shape a sustainable future.

The Role

Realize new construction and modernization projects for substations, up to 380kV, in Western Germany.
Commission electrical installations and ensure the smooth operation of green energy systems.
Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control technology, driving process improvements.
Program and parameterize high-tech protection and field devices from leading manufacturers.
Precisely commission digital protection and control technology using state-of-the-art testing equipment.
Collaborate effectively with project management, planning, and installation teams.

What You'll Need

Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.
Proven experience or strong aptitude in protection/control technology and substation commissioning.
Familiarity with communication standards like IEC 60870-5-101/103/104.
Proficiency with parameterization software (e.g., Siemens DIGSI, Schneider MICOM) and testing software (e.g., OMICROM TestUniverse) is a plus.
A strong team player with excellent communication and decision-making skills, fluent in German.
Possess a valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel within Western Germany.
