The Role • Commissioning and testing of electrical equipment in medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations, including specialized connection systems for renewable energy. • Analyzing and resolving faults in protection and control systems, collaborating with internal expert teams to implement improvements. • Programming and parameterizing high-tech protection and field control devices for high and medium voltage technology from leading manufacturers. • Precisely commissioning digital protection and control technology using state-of-the-art testing equipment. • Collaborating effectively with project management, planning, and assembly teams to ensure successful project execution. • Contributing directly to green energy projects, including grid connections for industrial facilities and renewable energy parks. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering. • Proven expertise in protection/control technology, with experience in commissioning switchgear according to common communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104) being highly advantageous. • Familiarity with parameterization software such as Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1, and testing software like OMICRON Test Universe is a plus. • Strong teamwork, responsibility, and excellent decision-making and communication skills. • Fluency in German with a professional demeanor for engaging with internal teams and clients. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel domestically (typically Monday-Thursday).
