Job Overview
Looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer to develop high-performance backend services and APIs supporting AI-driven and enterprise engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance backend applications using Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and REST APIs.
• Develop scalable MongoDB solutions, including data models, queries, indexing, and data migration.
• Support GenAI/LLM integrations, including AI agents, tool calling, MCP, and streaming workflows.
• Develop integrations with Siemens Teamcenter / PLM systems.
• Work with document, PDF, and engineering data processing as required.
• Implement secure access using OIDC/OAuth2, LDAP, Kerberos, API keys, and session-based authentication.
• Create automated tests using Pytest and maintain application quality.
• Support containerized applications using Docker, Linux, Nginx, Gunicorn/Uvicorn, and CI/CD tools.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of Python backend development
• 2+ years of FastAPI/Starlette
• Strong Python, Pydantic, REST API, and AsyncIO
• Hands-on MongoDB
• Strong Pytest experience
• Docker, Linux, Nginx, Gunicorn/Uvicorn
• Experience with OAuth2/OIDC and enterprise authentication

• Siemens Teamcenter / PLM
• PyMuPDF, NumPy, Pandas

CAD/manufacturing or engineering-domain experience
