Mid-Level Cloud Observability Engineer [$257k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Pol with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered. Summary: • Design, operate, and enhance cloud native observability and reliability capabilities. • Manage distributed systems, operational challenges, and resilient cloud platforms. • Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions. • Analyze system performance and telemetry. • Support incident response and troubleshoot system issues. • Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Helm. • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Python, and Bash. • Work in Agile/Scrum teams with Jira and Confluence. • Ensure compliance with security and operational standards. • Utilize AWS services including PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Jenkins, Docker, and Git for CI/CD. Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 10+ years • Total Compensation: $257k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions supporting monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting across cloud native platforms. • Analyze system performance and telemetry to detect anomalies, identify trends, and recommend improvements. • Support incident response activities, participate in on call rotations, and contribute to post incident reviews. • Diagnose and resolve system level issues using structured triage and root cause analysis. • Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Helm Charts. • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows. • Maintain and continuously improve operational runbooks, SOPs, and documentation supporting cloud operations and governance. • Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver cloud based solutions aligned with cloud service provider (CSP) and organizational best practices. • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards across cloud environments.
