Principal Business Intelligence Developer Contract

Principal Business Intelligence Developer - 6 month 40 hr per week contract
We are seeking a Principal Business Intelligence Developer to provide senior technical leadership for analytics, reporting, data integration, and visualization within a growing academic healthcare environment.

This role will develop and govern the organization's business intelligence ecosystem while delivering trusted, actionable insights supporting clinical, operational, financial, quality, research, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and governance of BI, reporting, dashboards, and data visualization solutions.
• Integrate complex data from clinical, operational, financial, quality, and research sources.
• Partner with clinical, administrative, research, and IT leaders to translate business needs into actionable analytics.
• Establish data, reporting, security, and governance standards.
• Improve existing reporting capabilities and expand the organization's analytics portfolio.
• Evaluate and leverage emerging technologies, automation, and AI to enhance decision-making.
• Serve as the senior technical advisor for analytics strategy, architecture, and solutions.

Ideal Candidate

• Senior-level experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and data integration.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Experience partnering with executive, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
• Healthcare or academic medical center experience strongly preferred.
