IT Business Analyst / Technical BSA

We are hiring an IT Business Analyst to join a growing IT Project Management team and serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and a Salesforce development team. The initial focus will be a new Salesforce build designed from the ground up to support case and dispute management for a healthcare program.

You’ll lead requirements discovery with business stakeholders and subject-matter experts, uncovering gaps and confirming that requirements are complete and accurate before they reach the build team. You’ll translate business processes into clear user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira and partner with the Salesforce architect and developers during design and sprint planning.

You’ll also support QA and User Acceptance Testing by writing test cases, coordinating business testers, and tracking defects through resolution. Along with the IT project managers and business-side analysts, you’ll help bring structure and clarity to a fast-moving environment. As priorities evolve, you’ll have the opportunity to support additional IT initiatives beyond Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery with business stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
• Uncover requirements gaps and confirm requirements are complete and accurate before they reach the development team.
• Translate business processes and needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with the Salesforce architect and developers during solution design and sprint planning.
• Help prioritize requirements and determine what can be addressed within each sprint.
• Support QA and User Acceptance Testing by developing test cases and coordinating business testers.
• Track defects through resolution and work with technical and business teams to address issues.
• Produce process flows, requirements documentation, and technical documentation needed to build and support the platform.
• Work alongside IT project managers and business-side analysts to provide structure and clarity throughout delivery.
• Provide Business Analyst support for additional IT initiatives as project priorities evolve.

Must-Haves

• Proven experience with requirements elicitation and validation with business stakeholders, including uncovering gaps and ensuring requirements are complete and accurate.
• IT/technical Business Analyst experience working directly with architects and developers to translate business needs into buildable requirements.
• Hands-on Jira experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum sprint delivery environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Salesforce implementation experience, ideally with case management or Service Cloud.
• Healthcare, Medicaid, or government program experience, particularly in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
• FedRAMP familiarity.
• Technical writing and documentation experience, including process flows, requirements documents, and user guides.
• Familiarity with Jira Data Center/on-premises environments and Confluence.
• Low-code/no-code or SaaS platform experience, such as Creatio.
• BA certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CSPO.
