Lead Cloud Systems Engineer Azure & Automation

We are seeking a Lead Cloud Systems Engineer to support and enhance enterprise corporate systems across Azure and on-premises environments. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, security, troubleshooting, and AI-driven process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and support enterprise applications and hybrid Azure/on-prem environments.
• Lead technical initiatives from design through implementation and adoption.
• Develop automation using Terraform/Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash.
• Support containerized environments and observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Identify and implement AI/LLM and intelligent automation solutions for business processes and internal applications.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and security remediation.
• Ensure solutions align with PCI DSS, SOC 2, and data-governance requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while remaining hands-on.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems, infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise application engineering experience.
• Strong Azure/hybrid-cloud experience.
• Hands-on IaC, scripting, containers, and observability experience.
• Experience with AI-driven automation, LLMs, chatbots, or intelligent business workflows.
• Financial services/banking or other regulated-industry experience strongly preferred.
• C#/.NET experience preferred.
