Senior Power BI Developer

Position: Senior Power BI Developer

Location: (Fully Remote)

Duration: Long Term

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience developing enterprise reporting, analytics, and data solutions within Microsoft-centric environments.

Deep SQL Server expertise, including:

Complex T-SQL development

Stored procedures

Performance tuning

Query optimization

Indexing strategies

4+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.

Strong experience with:

DAX

Power Query

Data modeling

Semantic/tabular models

Production experience with Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.

Experience building ETL/data pipelines using SSIS, Power Query, or comparable tools.

Proven ability to work directly with business leaders to gather requirements and manage expectations.

Ability to work independently within a small team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Insurance brokerage, employee benefits, or financial services industry experience.

Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Blob Storage.

SSRS development or reporting migration experience.

Agile/Scrum delivery experience.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related discipline. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
