Job Title: Manager Technical Services
Location: Houston, Texas, USA (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Travel: Up to 25% (Domestic & International)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager Technical Services to lead our Technical Services team and provide strategic direction for customer support, technical consulting, and service operations. This role partners closely with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and Application Engineering to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement and supporting new product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Technical Services team.
  • Provide technical support, product demonstrations, customer training, and application guidance.
  • Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operation of ERLPhase products both remotely and on-site.
  • Develop technical presentations, proposals, competitive analyses, and customer documentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Application Engineering teams.
  • Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Represent ERLPhase at industry conferences, technical forums, and customer meetings.
  • Drive service excellence, improve support processes, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
  • 10+ years of experience with numerical relays, protection relays, and disturbance recorders.
  • Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of electric power systems, protection, automation, and relay applications.
  • Experience with EMTP, load flow, and short-circuit studies.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and communication system architecture.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
  • Experience working with utility companies, consulting firms, or engineering organizations is highly preferred.
