Job description

Job Description Kryptauri is seeking a Signals Analyst with deep TechELINT expertise to characterize complex signals, investigate unknown emitters, and develop insights that advance critical national security missions. In this role, you will combine expertise across electronic, communications, and foreign instrumentation signals intelligence to identify signals of interest, determine their characteristics, and understand their associated networks. Your analysis will support research, development, testing, and evaluation while connecting signal discovery with operational understanding. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze and characterize unknown signals and their underlying networks.
  • Determine signal structure, measure key parameters, and model signal behavior.
  • Integrate findings across multiple intelligence disciplines to identify, characterize, and associate signal indicators.
  • Apply technical expertise throughout the intelligence lifecycle, including tasking, processing, and exploitation.
  • Develop technical findings that support mission partners and inform further collection and analysis.

Required Skills

  • Advanced technical signals analysis experience with a strong specialization in TechELINT.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze signals of interest and characterize unknown or unfamiliar signals.
  • Experience determining signal structure, defining signal parameters, and modeling signal behavior.
  • Expertise spanning COMINT, ELINT, and FISINT.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end signals intelligence lifecycle, including tasking, processing, and exploitation.
  • Ability to apply a multidisciplinary signals analysis approach in support of research, development, testing, and evaluation.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with electronic warfare (EW) and radio frequency (RF) analysis.
  • Experience applying digital signal processing (DSP) techniques.
  • Experience recognizing and characterizing modulation schemes.
  • Completion of relevant advanced signals analysis training, including courses 451 or 452, supported by hands-on TechELINT expertise.
