Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services<br />Salary £40k to £50k dept on experience<br />Woolwich - Southeast London<br />Contractor/ Consultancy / Building Services Design / MEP / Mechanical Services Design Engineer / Mechanical Design / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer<br />This role is to join an established consultancy, where you will be delivering mechanical designs through to and including RIBA stage 5. You will have significant involvement with contractors and site visits. This is an office-based role offering genuine progression opportunities into senior technical, project leadership and management positions as this employer continues to grow.<br />Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical designs to Stage 5 construction-ready standard
• Produce coordinated 3D Revit-based design packages
• Lead mechanical coordination within multidisciplinary project teams
• Conduct site surveys and existing services investigations
• Attend construction sites to verify installation and resolve technical issues
• Liaise directly with contractors, architects and client teams
• Review subcontractor technical submissions and procurement information
• Ensure all designs are practical, buildable and installation-ready<br />Skill and Experience Required
• Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• At least 2 years’ experience of mechanical design in building services design
• UK Building Services experience
• Ideally Stage 5 design experience
• Familiarity with Revit, IES, TAS and DesignBuilder would be beneficial
• Ability to attend site visits as required
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Valid Passport
