The business is entering an exciting phase of growth, with continued investment across the site-now looking to strengthen their engineering team with the addition of a Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer.A continental shift pattern during the working week is on offer, giving you more time off without sacrificing earning potential-ideal if you're looking for a better work-life balance without compromising on career progression.As a Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer, this is what you'll be doing:You'll be part of a highly experienced engineering team, working a days & nights rotation supporting a fast-paced production environment with a range of specialist machinery.Tasks will include:

• Maintaining and repairing mechanical plant and equipment in line with schedules and specifications to maximise reliability and minimise downtime, including fault finding and reactive repairs.
• Identifying recurring mechanical issues and implementing long-term fixes through root cause analysis.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Ensuring all tools and maintenance equipment are in good condition and fit for purpose.
• Supporting and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

The experience you will bring to the team:

• Ideally qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• A time-served, apprentice-trained engineer with a strong mechanical background is essential.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic electrical fault-finding skills would be advantageous, but the role is mechanically focused.
