Responsibilities Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide variety of plant machinery, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.<br />Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on equipment.<br />Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.<br />Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including service reports and parts used.<br />Provide technical support and advice to customers as required.<br />Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.<br />Manage your workload effectively while working independently in a remote capacity.<br />Qualifications NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance or a related field is essential.<br />Proven experience working with plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, loaders, and telehandlers.<br />Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.<br />Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.<br />Full UK driving license.<br />Excellent communication and customer service skills.<br />Day-to-Day Travel to customer sites to carry out maintenance and repairs on plant machinery.<br />Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.<br />Liaise with customers to provide updates on work progress and offer technical advice.<br />Maintain and manage the company-provided van, ensuring it is stocked with necessary tools and parts.<br />Complete all required documentation and service reports promptly.<br />Benefits Competitive hourly rate of £20.40 per hour.<br />Fully remote role with a company-provided van, including door-to-door pay and personal use.<br />Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x and double time rates.<br />39-hour workweek, with overtime paid after standard hours.<br />Generous holiday allowance of 30 days.<br />Comprehensive appraisal scheme to support career development.<br />Pension scheme to secure your future.<br />Opportunity to work with a wide range of plant machinery in a dynamic and rewarding environment.<br />If you are a motivated and experienced Mobile Plant Engineer looking for a role that offers flexibility, competitive pay, and excellent benefits, we encourage you to apply today.
