Mobile Forklift Engineer Location: Basildon, Essex Salary: £40,(Apply online only)-£50,(Apply online only) DOE Hours: 07:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 16.00 finish Friday (49 hour week) Job type: Full time, Permanent The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with an expanding family-owned business operating within the forklift supplier and repair industry on their search for an experienced field service engineer / forklift mechanic to join their growing team. The Role:

Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on forklift and plant machinery. Collaborate with customers surrounding the lifting and handling products.<br />The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered. Actively travelling to sites and carrying out repairs of the equipment and creating solutions.<br />Working on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs. Requirements:

Previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)<br />Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair &amp; service experience (advantageous)<br />Previous experience working in the Forklift, Plant, HGV and/or Agricultural industries (advantageous)<br />Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)<br />Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)<br />Full UK Drivers License<br />Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance &amp; IT, Technical &amp; Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
