Secret Responsibilities This Position is Subject to Contract Award OBXtek is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer (CONUS). In support of a Network Engineers and Specialists Support (NE&S) project for DHA. Position Description: * Serve as the premier network SME for the program supporting CONUS and enterprise operations.
* Lead design, configuration, sustainment, and troubleshooting of LAN/WLAN/WAN environments.
* Provide escalation support for complex network outages and performance issues.
* Mentor and technically lead Referral Network Engineers, Associates, and Specialists.
* Implement and maintain network security controls, firewalls, VPNs, and Zero Trust architectures.
* Develop and update standards, SOPs, and technical documentation.
* Support RMF/ATO activities, vulnerability remediation, and compliance efforts. Qualifications Education * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
OR technical/vocational education with additional experience.
Experience * Minimum 5 years (degree) or 10 years (non‑degree) Enterprise Network Engineering experience.
* Extensive experience with Cisco infrastructure, SolarWinds, ARMIS, Ansible, and enterprise routing/switching.
* Exprience with OTDR and Cable Testing. * Experience supporting DoD healthcare systems (e.g., MHS GENESIS).
Certifications * IAM Level III (DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant)
* CCNP – Required
