Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mainframe IMS System Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of IMS systems on mainframe platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of IMS architecture, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the system.
Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain IMS systems on mainframe platforms.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed.
• Collaborate with application developers to support IMS database and transaction management.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IMS-related issues.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mainframe IMS System Programmer.
• Strong knowledge of IMS architecture, database, and transaction management.
• Experience with system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving IMS-related issues.
• Familiarity with mainframe operating systems and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay Range: $53 - $59
