Data Integration &amp; Application Support Technician Temporary Contract: 3 months<br />Location: Bracknell (Onsite)<br />Hourly Rate: £24 via an Umbrella (Inside IR35) We are seeking a Data Integration &amp; Application Support Technician for a hands-on technical role within our team. This position involves developing and supporting a proprietary business application used by real customers. You will work onsite in our Bracknell office, handling real customer datasets, validating results within the live application, and influencing how data is displayed to end users. the role:

Prepare and clean customer data using Excel, employing formulas, lookups, and other features to ready data for import.<br />Import data into our Access-based database, ensuring data integrity throughout the process by running queries and checks.<br />Test imported data within our proprietary business application to ensure accuracy, identify issues, and collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies.<br />Gain a deep understanding of the underlying database structure, including tables, relationships, and queries, and how the application utilizes this data.<br />Write and refine SQL queries in Access to support testing, reporting, and troubleshooting.<br />Configure the application's graphical user interface (GUI) to display SQL output effectively, ensuring clarity and accuracy for users.Why this role is interesting: Direct impact on business operations through working with real customer data.<br />Opportunity to develop a broad technical skillset across Excel, Access, SQL, and proprietary applications.<br />Insight into the workings of a real-world business system from database to front-end.<br />Collaborative environment with a team that built the system, offering direct support and guidance.<br />Autonomy in problem-solving, improving data quality, and shaping information presentation.
