Description
Join our team in a full-time role as an Accounting Specialist in Cornelius, NC. 
This position requires you to handle both accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments. 
You will work with a general accounting system and utilize spreadsheet software for various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Process vendor and customer invoices, payments, and incoming checks.
Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records and follow up on outstanding balances.
Assist with collections and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
Support general ledger tasks, reconciliations, month-end close, and audit requests.
Take over established accounting tasks from the Office Manager.
Qualifications
3 years of hands-on experience with accounts payable and receivable.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Ability to manage responsibilities independently and communicate openly when questions arise.
Proficient in spreadsheet software.
Experience using a general accounting system.
