Job Description

Title: Associate Accountant
Location: Remote 100%
Duration: Contract
Must complete the Funding Representative Assessment
A premier client in the healthcare insurance industry is seeking an Associate Accountant.
100% remote
Responsibilities
Responsible for communicating claims registers to clients daily, weekly and monthly.
Maintains the funding for self-insured clients. (35%) Responsible for communicating with external client contacts and internal departments. (30%) Prepares and sends reports and bills to clients daily, weekly or monthly. (35%) Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
0-1+ years of relevant experience
Must have a numeric aptitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to meet deadline requirements
Must be detail oriented and a team player Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to identify problems and issues and work within the Department for resolution or with other Department for resolution
Preferred Qualifications
Some college preferred. Prior experience in billing and eligibility preferred.
