Our client is seeking a Tax & Accounting Associate to support the tax, accounting, and financial needs of a sophisticated private organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants exposure beyond traditional accounting, including complex tax structures, investments, trusts, and a variety of financial matters.
Key Responsibilities

Support tax compliance and planning for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporate entities, including estimated tax calculations and coordination with outside tax advisors.
Compile and analyze financial information, maintain supporting workpapers, and assist with tax filings, audits, and tax notices.
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations and assist with financial reporting and month- and year-end close.
Work closely with experienced internal professionals and external tax, audit, and financial advisors.
Assist with special projects, financial analysis, process improvements, and other evolving accounting and tax needs.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 2+ years of relevant tax and accounting experience.
Public accounting experience and CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
