Job Description

Job Title: Implementation Project Manager
Location: Lincoln, NE (Onsite)
Type: Full Time/W2 with Infinite Computer Solutions
 
What does a successful Project Manager do at Fiserv? 
You will provide project management to new and/or existing clients during their Implementation or Professional Service Loan Director /Flex product project engagements, to ensure satisfied clients.  You will be responsible for ensuring project team is on schedule and manage project plan/budget to ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery.  The Project Manager is instrumental in coordinating all components of the project and working with not only the project team, but also our internal partners in Product and Development , as well as with other interfacing Fiserv products teams and 3rd Party interface partners.  You will focus on planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects of varying scope and budget. Previous experience with client-facing projects is deeply valuable.  The best part of the job is working with the Clients and Fiserv Associates for a successful event. Basic Qualifications for Consideration: 
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent military experience 
  • 3+ years of project management or project engineer experience, preferably in the Financial Institution or related field 
  • Prior experience managing implementation and/or professional services projects 
  • Hands-on experience working with external clients during project delivery 
  
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Provide a holistic view of the overall project to the organization and all stakeholders 
  • Define the overall scope by building and maintaining a consolidated timeline 
  • Identify and communicate dependencies and impacts to ensure ongoing control 
  • Define governance, outline roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and critical issue paths 
  • Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and actively lead to expected outcomes 
  • Actively communicate progress on an ongoing basis, ensuring visibility throughout the lifecycle 
  • Problem resolution to include root cause analysis and recommendations to institutionalize improvements in project execution and delivery processes

  • Develop relationships with client personnel that foster strong ties 
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate business solutions 
  • Adhere to the Project Management processes 
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships 
  • Consistently deliver high-quality services to internal and external clients 
  • Deliver informative, well-organized presentations to clients and internal teams 
  • Collaborate with Loan Director/Flex product teams and as well as all related Fiserv business areas to meet One Fiserv objectives 
  
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education: 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 
  • Experience with client implementations and/or professional services 
  • Attention to detail and dedication to high quality results. 
  • Experience in delivering small to large size projects within a matrixed organization environment 
  • Proven working experience in the Banking, or Financial Services industry 
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills 
  • Cool under pressure, able to manage many priorities with high quality results 
  • Experience with Loan Director a/k/a Velocity and Originate Loans is a plus
