Profile: Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform
Location: Miamisburg, OH – Onsite
Experience: 8+ Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS production infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and automation. The ideal candidate will own cloud platform reliability, deployment automation, observability, and production troubleshooting.

  • Build, operate, and maintain reliable, scalable AWS production infrastructure.

  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based release automation.

  • Troubleshoot complex production issues involving networking, DNS, certificates, IAM, secrets, Linux, and cloud security.

  • Improve platform reliability, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with software engineering, platform, architecture, and infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, or related roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience operating AWS production environments.

  • Proven expertise in Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.

  • Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.

  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Experience with metrics, logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.

  • Solid understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, TLS/SSL certificates, IAM, secrets management, and cloud security.

  • Demonstrated ownership of production troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

  • Internal developer platforms, self-service infrastructure, and reusable deployment patterns.

  • Cloud security automation, vulnerability management, compliance, and governance.

  • High availability, disaster recovery, resilience, and business continuity.

  • Strong technical documentation, decision-making, and cross-team communication.

  • AWS certification or equivalent practical AWS expertise.
