DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Git, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Manage source code repositories using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting processes.
• Work with development and QA teams to improve application build, deployment, and release processes.
• Support production deployments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement security, access controls, secrets management, and DevOps best practices.
• Improve deployment reliability, scalability, availability, and automation.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer / Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with Git and version-control practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, Ansible, Vault, SonarQube, Nexus, or JFrog Artifactory.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of AWS EKS / ECS, Azure AKS, or Google Cloud Platform GKE.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
