Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology initiatives in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications while ensuring successful delivery of IT projects and business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized leader, and collaborative problem-solver who can effectively manage cross-functional teams and drive projects from initiation through implementation. This is a contract opportunity with the option to extend.  

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously through the full project lifecycle.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Coordinate activities among technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Manage change requests and project documentation.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and promote project management best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing IT projects in corporate or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, Agile, or related project management certification preferred.
  • Experience leading infrastructure, software development, cloud migration, cybersecurity, ERP, or digital transformation projects preferred.
  • Experience working within large enterprise environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must currently reside in Oklahoma.
  • Must be willing and able to work on-site in Oklahoma City, OK.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be open to a contract-to-hire employment arrangement.
