Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

A commercial and industrial construction company in Shreveport is looking for an experienced Commercial Glazier / Glass Installer to join its glazing division. This position is for someone with hands-on experience installing commercial glass systems who can work effectively on active construction sites with limited supervision.
Responsibilities

• Install commercial glass, storefront systems, doors, frames, and related glazing products
• Measure, cut, handle, and set glass according to project specifications
• Install aluminum framing and glazing systems
• Read measurements, plans, and shop drawings to complete installations accurately
• Remove and replace existing glass and glazing materials as needed
• Apply sealants, gaskets, and other weatherproofing materials
• Use hand and power tools associated with commercial glass installation
• Work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas
• Maintain quality and safety standards on commercial and industrial job sites
• Coordinate with helpers, field leads, and other trades to keep projects moving

Requirements

• Previous commercial glazing or commercial glass installation experience required
• Knowledge of commercial storefront and glazing systems
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders/lifts
• Ability to safely handle large and heavy glass panels
• Familiarity with construction jobsite safety practices
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
