Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Clearwater, FL that is seeking a SharePoint UX Designer to help create engaging, intuitive, and user-centered digital workplace experiences across SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, content owners, developers, and digital transformation teams to design modern intranets, collaboration portals, knowledge hubs, and communication sites that improve employee engagement, knowledge sharing, and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity for a user experience professional who is passionate about digital workplace transformation, information architecture, and creating seamless employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business, user, and technical requirements for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 initiatives
  • Design wireframes, mockups, page layouts, navigation models, site maps, and interactive prototypes
  • Create intuitive information architecture, taxonomy, metadata models, and content organization strategies
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, workshops, and user research activities
  • Apply UX best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design system principles to deliver consistent user experiences
  • Support usability testing and collect user feedback to drive continuous improvements
  • Collaborate with SharePoint developers, Microsoft 365 administrators, communications teams, and business stakeholders
  • Present design concepts, recommendations, and findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables and meeting project deadlines
  • Contribute to the development of digital workplace design standards, templates, and best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Architecture, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field required
  • Relevant UX, usability, accessibility, or design certifications are preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Digital Workplace Solutions, SharePoint Online, Information Architecture, Employee Experience, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience designing SharePoint Online intranets, communication sites, collaboration portals, and knowledge management solutions
  • Experience developing site structures, navigation frameworks, taxonomy, metadata, and content governance strategies
  • Proficiency with UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies, including:
  • User research
  • Wireframing
  • Prototyping
  • Usability testing
  • Accessibility
  • Interaction design

Preferred Qualifications

  • UX certifications, Design Thinking certifications, or related professional training
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies and modern workplace solutions
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
  • Familiarity with knowledge management, content governance, and employee communications platforms
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
