Senior Epic ClinDoc Application Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: 100% Remote

Target Experience: 3-5+ Years of hands-on Epic ClinDoc build experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Epic ClinDoc Application Analyst to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end build, configuration, testing, and optimization of the Epic Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc) module.

We are looking for a hands-on technical analyst with a strong track record of successful Epic implementations, module builds, and go-live support. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical workflow knowledge and active Epic certifications to deliver high-quality EHR solutions that support patient care delivery across our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

Build & Configuration: Design, build, test, and maintain Epic ClinDoc application components, including documentation flowsheet build, clinical templates, navigator configuration, and provider tools.

Full Lifecycle Implementation: Lead build efforts through all phases of implementation, including workflow mapping, build execution, integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support.

Optimization & Enhancements: Collaborate with clinical stakeholders, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinical workflows, streamline documentation, and execute system enhancement requests.

Cross-Module Collaboration: Partner closely with team members across Epic Orders, SmartForms, Stork, and Case Management to ensure seamless cross-functional integration.

Troubleshooting & Support: Perform complex root-cause analysis for system issues, manage tier-2/3 escalated support tickets, and implement permanent fixes or system enhancements.

Documentation & Quality Control: Maintain thorough technical documentation, build specifications, and change control procedures in compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

Required

Epic Certification: Active certification in Epic Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc) is required.

Hands-on Build Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of direct, hands-on Epic ClinDoc build, system configuration, and testing experience.

Implementation Track Record: Proven background participating in full lifecycle Epic implementations, upgrade cycles, and on-site or virtual go-live events (beyond general tier-1/tier-2 application support).

Preferred

Additional Epic Certifications: Certifications in Epic Orders, Epic SmartForms, and/or Epic Case Management are strongly preferred to minimize training requirements and support cross-module initiatives.

Clinical Background: RN, BSN, or other active/prior clinical background is highly valued.

Communication: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between technical teams and clinical end-users.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000+ per year (commensurate with experience, certifications, clinical background, and internal equity).

Comprehensive Benefits: Includes competitive healthcare coverage, retirement plans, generous paid time off (PTO), and continuous learning opportunities
