Job Description

Job Title: Resident Service Engineer

Location: Louisiana ,MO -Hybrid



Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite engineering support for DCS, PLC, and industrial automation systems.
  • Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain Yokogawa control systems and related automation platforms.
  • Perform hardware/software upgrades, system modifications, and lifecycle support.
  • Develop and configure control logic, HMI graphics, interlocks, sequences, and I/O.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving DCS, PLCs, industrial networks, and computer systems.
  • Support installation, loop checks, instrumentation wiring, and commissioning activities.
  • Review engineering documents including P&IDs, loop drawings, and control narratives.
  • Interface directly with customers to provide technical guidance and optimization recommendations.
  • Participate in annual maintenance, plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency support.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of industrial automation or process control engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with PLCs, DCS, and industrial networking.
  • Experience configuring, troubleshooting, commissioning, and supporting industrial control systems.
  • Strong understanding of process control principles and real-time industrial environments.
  • Ability to work onsite at customer facilities and travel as needed.
  • Willingness to provide after-hours/weekend support when required.
