Full Stack Developer (.NET / C# + React)

About the Role

Our client, a company in the payments/fintech space, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their engineering team. You'll build and maintain secure, high-throughput services on a modern .NET + Azure stack, working across the backend and the React front end. This is a fully remote, contract or direct-hire for candidates already based in the U.S and authorized to work.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in C# / .NET
• Develop responsive, user-facing features in React
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging workflows
• Work with Azure services including App Service, Storage/Service Bus, and Azure SQL Database
• Design and optimize relational data models and queries in SQL Server
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps configurations
• Manage source control, branching, and pull-request workflows in GitHub
• Collaborate with product, QA, and other engineers in an agile environment
• Write clean, testable, secure code with attention to the compliance and reliability demands of the payments domain

Required Qualifications

• 5 6+ years of professional experience with .NET / C# backend development
• 3 4+ years of hands-on experience with React
• Strong experience with Azure App Service, Queues (Service Bus / Storage), and Azure SQL
• Solid SQL Server database skills (schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
• Proficiency with Git / GitHub workflows
• Prior experience in the payments / fintech industry
• Must be U.S.-based and authorized to work without sponsorship

Nice to Have

• Experience with PCI-DSS or other payment/security compliance standards
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
