Construction Supervisor-Level 2 - Experienced (6 - 10 Years)
Location: Hollandale, Mississippi (Onsite)
Role Overview
This position provides technical and financial support for energy construction projects. The role involves overseeing QAQC on battery storage jobs, including safety oversight, material receiving, and inspection of mechanical and electrical construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for contractor monitoring, route development and refinement, and conducting field visits to support pre-construction preparation.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for project planning, including the review of plant design criteria, contract documents, and specifications.
• Oversee Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) for battery storage construction projects.
• Manage safety oversight, material receiving, and inspections of mechanical and electrical work.
• Support route development and refinement for generation tie projects, including conducting field visits.
• Monitor and oversee contractor performance on assigned work.
• Communicate risks and tradeoff decisions with subject matter experts across Engineering, Environmental Services, Legal, and Land departments.
• Utilize concepts like value engineering to optimize project criteria for late-stage activities.
• Ensure pre-construction preparations are completed according to project requirements.

Required Qualifications
Education: An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 6 - 10 years of experience supporting the technical and financial aspects of construction projects, including contractor oversight.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word is required. A functional understanding of key criteria for route development, including cost, engineering, and environmental constraints, is expected.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with geospatial applications such as Google Earth and/or GIS.

Work Environment
This position requires the ability to travel within the US, with travel expected to be approximately 25%. A valid, non-restricted driver's license is required, and a driving record validation will be conducted. This role may be eligible for per diem and mobilization/demobilization expenses. All assignments are eligible for worker furlough, which typically aligns with select national holidays.
