Pricing Analyst - Senior

Job Summary:

Produces and secures the distribution of pricing information (electronic media and catalogs), and maintains a library of analytical programs. Implements pricing changes throughout the company and the customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains accurate pricing data in order management and rebates systems including account setup and data verification; tracks and monitors win/loss data such as requests for quotes. Makes pricing recommendations on new product pricing and price changes; implements and reviews price adjustments; executes pricing strategy at a new product or market segment level. Leads, manages, or participates in pricing improvement projects; develops outcome and pricing improvements. Creates reports and analysis; presents results and conclusions to managers. Provides direct and prompt assistance to customers regarding complex pricing issues through various media (phone, email, fax, letter). Maintains confidential information and manages the use of this information appropriately. Contributes to continuous improvement teams and implements new processes and programs. Coaches and mentors less experienced Pricing Analysts. Competencies:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Accounting or a related subject required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

1. The position is for India aftermarket DBU Pricing leader.
2. Lead a team of three office employees – who manage the day to day DBU pricing operations and Pricing analytics.
3. Takes care of the strategic pricing – which involves carrying out all the mass scale annual and mid year price revisions – including planning, analysis, seeking approvals from pricing councils, execution of the actions, providing the right justifications to the market etc.
4. Leads the DBU Pricing councils. Ensures decisions are taken collaboratively by the Pricing, Finance and Sales leaders in this forum.
5. Manage DBU out pricing along with the team for multiple Oracle price lists. Ensure sync with the CRM systems.
6. Manage the DBU Direct customer pricing. Prepare the quotations to these customers in co-ordination with the sales team expectations and sometimes participate in the customer pricing negotiations.
7. Lead business projects to align pricing with market expectations. Support the team to clear price challenges on regular basis.
8. Lead Pricing analytics projects and implement AI analytics and tools in collaboration with the IT team
9. Provide daily guidance to the team for day to day clearances. Ensure right pricing methodologies are followed and accurate pricing set ups are done at the first time.
10. Maintain the team KPIs of Turn around time and accuracy.
11. Design the pricing philosophies for this business in co-ordination with the sales leaders
