Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Charles River Development (CRD) Tester / QA Analyst to support testing activities for a large-scale CRD implementation within an Asset/Wealth Management environment. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies covering CRD workflows, integrations, trading, compliance, and end-to-end investment management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for Charles River Development implementations.
• Perform functional testing across CRD OMS/EMS and front-to-back investment management workflows.
• Test order creation, order routing, execution, allocations, confirmations, compliance checks, and downstream processing.
• Validate trade lifecycle workflows across CRD and integrated systems.
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, end-to-end testing, and production validation.
• Test integrations between CRD and custodian, broker, market data, portfolio accounting, and downstream systems.
• Validate data mapping, transformation, interfaces, reconciliation, and end-to-end data flows.
• Work closely with CRD SMEs, developers, business users, trading teams, operations, and vendor teams to understand requirements and create appropriate test coverage.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Perform defect triage and work with functional/technical teams to determine root cause and business impact.
• Validate fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure defects have been successfully resolved.
• Support test data preparation and environment readiness.
• Maintain requirements-to-test-case traceability and ensure adequate coverage of business requirements.
• Support UAT coordination, business-user testing, cutover testing, go-live validation, and post-production testing.
• Prepare test status reports, defect metrics, testing dashboards, and readiness assessments.
• Identify testing risks, dependencies, and gaps and escalate issues appropriately.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA/testing experience in investment management, asset management, wealth management, or capital markets.
• Strong hands-on experience testing Charles River Development (CRD).
• Experience testing CRD OMS/EMS and front-to-back trading workflows.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, order management, execution, allocations, compliance, and settlement processes.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience testing CRD integrations with custodians, brokers, market data providers, and downstream systems.
• Strong experience in test planning, test case development, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Experience with defect management/testing tools such as Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work closely with business users, CRD SMEs, developers, vendors, and implementation teams.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes.

Preferred

• Experience with State Street / Charles River implementation teams.
• Experience testing large-scale/global CRD implementations.
• Knowledge of multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, and alternatives.
• Experience with automated testing or API/interface testing.
• Experience supporting go-live, cutover, and production validation.
