Secret Network Engineer with Security Clearance

Required Skills & Experience Active Secret Clearance
Security + or IAT II equivalent
Bachelors Degree (Can be Subbed for years of Experience)
3+ Years of experience in a Network engineering role with a focus on Cisco or Brocade
Experience updating OS on network devices
Experience with STIGs on Network Devices
Experience with Automation Scripts (Python, Bash, Etc) Job Description Insight Global is seeking a skilled Network engineer to join a large federal contract.

This person will be responsible for working across, Cisco, Brocade and Juniper networks and bring strong expertise across LAN/WAN/WLAN, network boundary engineering, routing, switching, network security, and Tier III troubleshooting. This position will serve as a technical resource and escalation point for complex network issues while supporting engineering, configuration management, change management, lab validation, and future enterprise network solutions. This person will also be responsible for items such as updating operating systems on network devices as well as STIG checklists.

Patching experience will be required for this role.

Compensation: $40hr to $48hr per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
