Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Developer with strong experience in ETL, SQL, data cleansing, data normalization, and database integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data integration processes that move data between source and target databases and integrate data from internal and third-party systems.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on database development skills and the ability to analyze, transform, cleanse, and integrate data while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Perform database-to-database data integration and migration.
• Extract data from multiple source systems and load it into target databases/data warehouses.
• Perform extensive data cleansing, standardization, normalization, and transformation.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Create source-to-target mappings and implement transformation logic.
• Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent, or invalid data.
• Integrate data received from third-party systems and external vendors.
• Develop processes to send data to third-party systems and subsequently integrate returned data into internal databases.
• Merge and reconcile data from multiple sources.
• Perform data validation and quality checks throughout the ETL process.
• Troubleshoot data integration and database-related issues.
• Optimize SQL queries and ETL processes for performance and reliability.
• Work with the Lead Data Warehouse/Data Integration Developer and other technical teams to deliver project requirements.
• Document ETL workflows, transformation rules, mappings, and technical processes.

• Hands-on experience in Data Warehousing.
• Strong ETL/ELT development experience.

• Experience with data cleansing and data quality.
• Strong understanding of data normalization.
• Experience with database-to-database integration.
• Experience with data transformation and mapping.
• Experience integrating data from third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of data validation and reconciliation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
