The Modernization BDM Role is responsible for driving sales by actively engaging with prospects for a solution-based offering while promoting HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) products and services to prospective customers. This role combines knowledge of HVAC systems with a strong sales focus to effectively identify, engage, and assist in closing deals. This is crucial role in meeting regional sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Furthermore, the Modernization BDM maintains a direct reporting line to the AdvanTEC Regional Operations Manager ensuring smooth coordination and communication between customer segments. Overall, the role demands a highly capable individual who can lead and drive success through effective team sales management, financial acumen, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solution-based offerings to customers.
  • Advise and guide on the appropriate HVAC solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Present technical information and conduct product demonstrations effectively to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify sales opportunities.
  • Prepare competitive quotations and proposals to secure new deals.
  • Focus on educating customers on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
  • Collaborate to develop effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets for region.
  • Ensure profitability by considering cost factors and pricing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and after-sales service.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales progress and achievements.
  • Maintain a dotted reporting line to the Country Sales Manager for effective coordination and communication between customer segments.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in HVAC field or an affiliated mechanical services industry.
  • Previously managed technical teams and projects in HVAC or similar field.
  • Ability to lead and drive success through effective team sales management.
  • Chair team meetings and facilitate review deliverables.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Understand urgency with customers.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
