Bookkepper

Our client, an organization dedicated to community development, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the organization's financial management and reporting efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Marina, CA

Pay Range: $25- $35.00/ Hourly

Shift: Part- Time

What's the Job?

• Maintain and update financial records including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.
• Process invoices, reimbursements, and payments accurately and timely.
• Track grants, donations, and program expenditures to ensure proper allocation.
• Assist with payroll processing and timesheet management.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports for review.
• Support budget preparation and assist during audits to ensure compliance.

What's Needed?

• Experience in bookkeeping, preferably within nonprofit organizations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
• Understanding of nonprofit accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
