Job Description

Position Summary: Support a DOE Headquarters ServiceNow modernization initiative focused on AI-enabled service management, Employee Center, Workspace, Virtual Agent, workflow automation, and Microsoft ecosystem integrations. The developer will join an established AI transformation team responsible for expanding ServiceNow GenAI capabilities and building conversational, automated service experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ServiceNow solutions using ITSM Pro Plus capabilities
  • Configure and enhance Service Operations Workspace
  • Implement and expand GenAI and AI Search capabilities
  • Support Virtual Agent, Live Agent, and conversational ticket submission
  • Develop advanced ServiceNow scripting and workflow automation
  • Build integrations with Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, and SharePoint
  • Support orchestration and bi-directional API integrations
  • Enhance Employee Center and self-service experiences
Required Skills
  • 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience
  • Strong JavaScript scripting experience
  • ITSM implementation experience
  • Flow Designer and IntegrationHub experience
  • REST API integration experience
  • Workspace experience
  • Ability to work in highly customized ServiceNow environments
