Ceiling & Partition SupervisorBowen Hills, QLD 4006Full Time Job descriptionBowen Hills, Brisbane Landmark Multi-Residential Development Immediate Start Your new company Hays Construction are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded interiors contractor to recruit an experienced Ceiling & Partitions Supervisor for a major multi-residential project in Brisbane's inner north. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the internal framing, plasterboard, ceilings and partitions packages across high-rise residential towers currently under construction in Bowen Hills.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be the lead site representative for the contractor, driving programme, quality and safety outcomes throughout the fit-out and structure interface stages.

Your new role As the Ceiling & Partitions Supervisor, you will be responsible for:Supervising day-to-day site activities across ceilings, framing and plasterboard tradesCoordinating subcontract labour, materials and deliveriesManaging programme requirements to meet key construction milestonesConducting quality inspections and ensuring works are completed to specificationMonitoring site safety and maintaining compliance with project requirementsLiaising with the builder's site team, consultants and other tradesIdentifying and resolving construction issues before they impact the programmeMaintaining site records, progress reporting and workforce managementWhat you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will bring:Proven experience supervising ceiling, wall and partition installations on commercial or residential projectsStrong understanding of metal framing, plasterboard systems, suspended ceilings and finishing requirementsExperience working on multi-storey residential or large-scale commercial developmentsAbility to manage multiple crews and coordinate works within live construction programmesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsConstruction White CardAbility to read and interpret drawings and specificationsWhat you'll get in returnSecure role with a respected interiors contractorLong-term project pipeline throughout South East QueenslandMajor multi-residential development in a prime Brisbane locationCompetitive salary package negotiable on experienceOpportunity to play a key role in a high-profile project from delivery through to completionSupportive and professional team environmentWhat you need to do now If you're an experienced Ceiling & Partitions Supervisor looking for your next challenge and want to be involved in one of Brisbane's significant residential developments, we'd like to hear from you.
