Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer with strong hands-on development expertise in PeopleSoft 9.2 Supply Chain Management (SCM) to support the iCash project. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and customizing PeopleSoft applications, building integrations with external systems, and supporting SCM business processes across Inventory Management, Order Management, Warehouse Operations, and Manufacturing.
The candidate must have strong technical skills in PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQL, Integration Broker, and Fluid page development, along with experience in testing, code migration, and production support.
Required Technical Skills
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience, preferably with PeopleSoft 9.2.
  • Strong experience with PeopleSoft Application Designer (App Designer), PeopleCode, and application customization.
  • Hands-on experience with Application Engine and Component Interfaces.
  • Strong SQL skills, including query development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and developing integrations with external systems.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, and FTP/file-based integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Fluid page development and modifications.
  • Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployments.
  • Experience with code migration, release management, and technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Required PeopleSoft SCM Module Experience
Candidates must have hands-on development experience supporting the following PeopleSoft 9.2 SCM modules:
  • Inventory Management
  • Order Management / Sales Order Management
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Manufacturing
Important: Direct development experience across all four modules is a key screening requirement. Please verify module-specific experience before submitting candidates.
Reporting and Development Tools
Experience with the following reporting technologies is relevant:
  • SQR – strongly preferred
  • BI Publisher
  • Crystal Reports
  • Other PeopleSoft reporting tools, where applicable
Candidates should have experience creating, modifying, and maintaining reports based on functional requirements.
Integrations and External Systems
The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting inbound and outbound integrations between PeopleSoft and external enterprise applications, including third-party systems, warehouse management systems, manufacturing systems, and other ERP platforms.
Experience with different integration approaches, including Integration Broker, REST/SOAP services, XML, JSON, and FTP/file-based interfaces, is required.
Change Management and Migration
  • Experience with Phire (Phire) Change Management is preferred.
  • Candidates with experience using other change-management and migration tools may also be considered.
  • Experience with code migration, release management, and development lifecycle processes is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy PeopleSoft 9.2 enhancements and customizations.
  • Develop and maintain PeopleSoft application objects using Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Component Interfaces.
  • Build and support integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems.
  • Develop and modify Fluid pages and application components based on functional requirements.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain SQR reports and other reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application, SQL, and integration issues.
  • Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-deployment issue resolution.
  • Manage code migrations and follow established development and release management procedures.
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on PeopleSoft Inventory Management experience.
  • Experience with Order Management / Sales Order Management.
  • Experience supporting Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations.
  • SQR reporting experience.
  • Phire Change Management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Vendor Screening and Submission Guidelines
Please prioritize candidates who meet the following criteria:
  1. Hands-on PeopleSoft 9.2 development experience.
  2. Strong App Designer, PeopleCode, SQL, and Integration Broker skills.
  3. Development experience supporting Inventory Management, Order Management, Warehouse Operations, and Manufacturing.
  4. Experience with Fluid pages and external system integrations.
  5. SQR reporting experience.
  6. Phire experience or familiarity with comparable change-management tools.
PeopleSoft 9.2 is strongly preferred. Candidates with PeopleSoft Version 9 may be considered only if suitable 9.2 candidates are unavailable and the client approves. Versions earlier than 9 are not acceptable.
