Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Design and develop scalable applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and n-tier/distributed architectures.
2. Develop and integrate REST and SOAP web services and deploy enterprise applications across application servers.
3. Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using SQL and relational databases while supporting application performance.
4. Create comprehensive unit tests, troubleshoot application issues, participate in SDLC activities, and collaborate with technical and business teams.
    

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	5+ years of experience in Java backend development with hands-on experience in enterprise applications, Spring technologies, web services, databases, testing, and application deployment.
Technical Skills	Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP Web Services, SQL/Relational Databases, WebSphere/JBoss, JUnit/Mockito, JIRA/SDLC
Business / Domain Skills	Enterprise Application Development, Software Development Lifecycle, Application Integration, Database Performance, Agile Development, Technical Problem-Solving
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with React or Angular and Node.js for frontend development.
2. Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and leading technical design activities.
3. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams.
