Power BI Developer*
Location:* San Antonio, TX (Onsite)
Experience:* 8-10 Years
*Role Overview*
Seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions. This is a contract role onsite based in San Antonio, TX.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
- Build and optimize DAX calculations and complex measures
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines using Power Query
- Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Azure, and cloud platforms
- Implement row-level security and governance standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights
- Optimize report performance and data model efficiency
- Support Power BI Service administration, workspace management, and deployment pipelines
*Required Skills*
- 8-10 years of experience in BI development, with strong focus on Power BI
- Expert-level proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse) is a plus
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and star schema design
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
*Certifications (Preferred)*
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
- Any additional Microsoft Azure Data certifications are a plus
