Job Description
Job Title: Power BI Consultant
Location: EI Paso, TX (Remote ok)
Technical Skills:
6-8 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or Reporting solutions.
5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
Expertise in:
Power BI Desktop
Power BI Service
DAX
Power Query (M Language)
SQL and T-SQL
Data Modeling
Data Warehousing Concepts
Experience with Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks).
Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and ETL tools.
Experience with REST APIs and cloud data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end Power BI implementation projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
Provide strategic guidance on BI architecture, governance, and best practices.
Mentor junior developers, analysts, and consultants.
Drive adoption of self-service analytics across business functions.
