nTech Workforce has an #23647 Applications Support Systems Analyst (Mid) Consolidated Estimating Tool (CET) Administrator

Terms of Employment:

  • Duration: 12-month contract (Possibility of extension or full-time employee conversion)
  • Location: On-site 5 days/week at Two Lincoln Center (Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM)

Overview:

Client is seeking an Application Systems Analyst / Functional Administrator to support a leading electric utility organization. This role serves as the primary Consolidated Estimating Tool (CET) Administrator, managing system data, contract pricing, and operational updates across 20+ departments. You will act as the key gatekeeper for business applications and serve as the main operational liaison to the IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary CET Administrator, maintaining and updating key system attributes, pricing, labor, equipment rates, and contract parameters for 8 distinct contract types.
  • Ensure system alignment with Illinois state regulatory guidelines and federal compliance rules.
  • Act as the first point of contact and gatekeeper for business users across 20+ departments seeking application support or updates.
  • Partner closely with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues, review releases, and coordinate application testing, staging, and production deployments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Engineering, Accounting, and New Business to collect and validate critical operational inputs.
  • Communicate clear, periodic updates and operational directions to 400+ system users.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in application administration, system support, or functional analyst roles.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to act as an effective gatekeeper.
  • Ability to converse effectively with IT professionals to translate business needs into technical requirements and navigate deployment/testing workflows without needing to write code.
  • Complete willingness to work on-site 5 days a week at Two Lincoln Center during core hours (8:30 AM 5:00 PM).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the electric utility industry or utility operations.
  • Familiarity with utility New Business processes and contract structure workflows.
  • Experience managing financial, estimating, or pricing-related business applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
