Senior Product Manager Case and Tote Storage

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Product Manager Case and Tote Storage in Grand Rapids, MI.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Business Requirements:

• Get involved early in the project lifecycle to help shape product direction
• Participate in product management and stakeholder meetings
• Develop business cases and define business requirements, deliverables, and project objectives
• Understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements

Product Development & Project Management:

• Own the product lifecycle from cradle to grave, from initial concept through launch and ongoing delivery
• Partner with R&D and engineering teams to drive product development
• Support project execution by identifying and removing roadblocks, resolving problems, and keeping deliverables on track
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout development
• Support beta testing and product rollout

Location & Travel:

• Preferred locations: Grand Rapids, Atlanta, Milwaukee, or Dallas
• Travel: Up to 25%
• Relocation: Must be open to relocating if not currently located near a preferred office

REQUIREMENTS:

• Material Handling Experience: Familiarity with case and tote storage solutions
• Product Management: Experience managing physical products, ideally with an understanding of how products are designed, developed, and delivered
• Technical Acumen: Ability to understand technical details and engineering concepts while connecting them to customer needs and business outcomes
• Business Acumen: Ability to develop business cases, evaluate return on investment (ROI), and understand the financial impact of product decisions
• Engineering Mindset: Someone who can think like an engineer while approaching challenges with a business-oriented, MBA-style mindset
• Execution: A hands-on product manager who can take ownership and drive deliverables through completion

The ideal candidate combines a product management mindset with technical engineering knowledge and business acumen, allowing them to understand customer needs, evaluate ROI, and drive products from concept through delivery. The role has been open for approximately one year, so finding someone with the right combination of technical knowledge, product ownership, and business skills is a priority.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
