The EL1 DevOps Engineer (Labour Hire) operates under broad direction to lead highly complex initiatives that drive quality outcomes across the NDIA. This position requires a high level of autonomy and expertise, engaging in advanced problem-solving and issue management within the organisation's core functions. The role will involve making strategic decisions and providing high-level advice and support to senior leadership.

The EL1 DevOps Engineer (Labour Hire) will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders and our local full-stack team to support and enhance project development within the NDIA. The role is also responsible for managing critical internal and external stakeholder relationships, representing, and negotiating on behalf of the NDIA to promote the agency's objectives across various forums.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Design, development, deployment, and support of the Agency's Cloud & Data Infrastructure.
• Prioritising and managing the work queue to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
• Ensuring that all solutions adhere to integration best practices and are well documented.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Playing a key leadership role in project teams, utilising an agile development framework.
• Engaging with stakeholders to define project requirements, set priorities, and deliver results.
