Job description

Job Summary – AI Agent Developer

  • Develop and test AI conversational agents using Google Cloud Platform (Dialogflow CX/GECX) and Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK).
  • Integrate agents with backend systems by creating and maintaining REST APIs, webhooks, and services in Python (.NET or Node.js), especially to connect with ServiceNow and Azure.
  • Write SQL queries for agent lookups, reporting, and conversational analytics.
  • Build responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript with modern frameworks (e.g., React or Angular).
  • Connect front-end components to backend services and agent APIs, handling loading states, errors, and sessions in the browser.
  • Create dashboards and internal tools for agent analytics, test results, and admin tasks.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), updating YAML pipelines, and supporting automated build and deployment processes.
  • Implement automated testing for APIs, webhooks, dialog flows, and front-end components.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and test failures, document findings, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Participate in Agile (SAFe) ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, and PI planning.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for flow designs, APIs, UI components, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable delivery and deployment of features.
  • Work on-site in Manhattan, NY (hybrid: 3 days/week) and participate in mandatory on-site interviews.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript

  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, SQL

  • Exposure to unit testing frameworks

  • Familiarity with Git, modern IDEs (e.g., VS Code)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Dialogflow CX, chatbots, LLM-based applications

  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, intent classification

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, OAuth2, API security, and front-end testing tools

  • Awareness of Agile/SAFe, containers, infrastructure as code, serverless platforms, and SRE/AIOps concepts
